2019 FALL SPORTS FOR GRADE 6 - 8 ATHLETES AT SMS

Those students interested in competing on a Shuswap Athletic team next year need to make note of the sports available each season, the practice days, the practice times, and game days. Some practice days and times may change depending on who is coaching the team and the coach's availability. Full commitment to the team and season of play, which includes attending practices, and competing in all games meets some of our core values as it pertains to our Shuswap Athletic Program. FALL SPORTS:


Grade 6/7 Sports:


Grade 6 Girls Volleyball - Practices are Wednesday and Thursday after school from 2:30 to 4:00
                                         - Games are on Thursdays (please note games will END between 4:30 -                                          5:00)
Grade 7 Girls Volleyball - Practices are Tuesday and Thursday after school from 2:30 to 4:00
                                         - Games are on Thursdays (please note games will END between 4:30 -                                          5:00)


Grade 6 Boys Volleyball - Practices are Wednesday and Thursday after school from 2:30 to 4:00
                                         - Games are on Thursdays (please note: games will END between 4:30
                                           5:00)
Grade 7 Boys Volleyball - Practices are Tuesday and Thursday after school from 2:30 to 4:00
                                         - Games are on Thursdays (please note: games will END between 4:30
                                           5:00)


Grade 6, 7 & 8 Rugby - More details will be provided during our first week of school.


Grade 8 Sports:
Grade 8 Girls' Volleyball - Practices are Monday after school from 2:30 to 4:15 until games start
                                         - Practices are Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 7:00 to 8:10 AM
                                         - Games are on Mondays ... Schedule will be sent out in September...
                                           Please note: League games will be played in the North Okanagan, which
                                           includes Revelstoke and Vernon. Games will run late and players may be
                                           home after 9:00 PM during the occasional Monday evening.

                                         - Practices are Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 7:00 to 8:10 AM
